Age: Her appearance is of a twenty-year-old woman, but in reality she is thousands, even more, of years old.

Appearance: Alexiel stands at just below six feet, with luxurious brown hair that reaches to mid-thigh and a gold circlet on her head. She has blue-violet eyes and her lips are usually curved up into a small smile. As with all her fellow angels she is beauty incarnate, with flawless skin and a perfect hourglass figure. She wears a confection of white cloth and leather - long-sleeved white dress with a waist-length slit, a black corset connected by numerous straps to black leather gloves on top, black boots (the left thigh-high, the right calf-high only) underneath, her usual attire for war. The earrings she wears can also function as a locket of sorts, with a compartment hidden in the jewel in the middle.

Alexiel has three large wings, just like her twin brother's, which she usually hides. When she does show her wings she only manifests two, and very rarely does she show the third, as it marks her as one of Adam Kadmon's twins. However, someone who can sense auras or who has high astral powers can 'see' the auras emanated by all three wings. On her left breast is the brand of a fallen angel.

Personality: Alexiel is an outgoing, charismatic, and laughter-loving angel. Having been led through a life with love, albeit forbidden, her once-frozen heart has slowly softened and she is now a much-loved angel by the Anima Mundi, a symbol of their resistance and their objectives. She is impulsive and will speak her mind, no matter what the consequences. She is a passionate and merciless soul, and in everything she does she does it wholly, without any doubts, because she knows for a fact that she can accomplish anything as long as she puts her mind into it.

She is first and foremost a warrior - she never backs down from a fight, and for her actions always speak louder than words. She is a champion liar, though, and while she knows nothing about the intricate web of politics, she is still a force to be reckoned with among society.

She will do what she thinks is best for her loved ones, regardless of the price she has to pay for it.

As opposed the the common conception of an angel of God, she is surprisingly open to anything, as long as it does not go against her strict moral codes. Alexiel has a great dislike for authority figures, liars - she knows she is a hypocrite for this - and apples (sliced ones even more), in that order.

Abilities/Strengths: Alexiel is one-half of the second highest power in existence. Thus she is essentially immortal; she has extraordinary healing abilities - she is able to recover from any fatal wound, both a blessing and a curse - and she has great astral powers; she can warp from one place to another, create gateways to other places, among many others. Alexiel is also an extraordinary fighter; in the second rebellion against God she singlehandedly wiped out an entire battalion of angels who dared attack the highest level of Hell, Gehenna.

As the Organic Angel, she can control four out of the five elements - the former four being earth, air, wind and water. Her wings possess life-giving powers; a feather cure any fatal wound and extend the life of the recipient. She is vibrant Life-giving ether as opposed to Rociel's cold, mechanical electromagnetic powers; they are balances of the cosmic scale.

Her charisma and talent in public speech is one of her foremost advantages in war - she has thousands of followers behind her and Lucifer, all willing to die for her and for her cause. She exudes a calming aura, one she usually uses with the dying on the battlefield, as she opens the door to the Underworld for them.

She wields the Nanatsusaya Mitamanatsurugi, a sentient seven-bladed sword crafted especially for her by Lucifer, aligned opposite to whatever force she is fighting against. In the realm of Hell it is driven by evil, and in the realm of Heaven it is driven by righteous anger.

Weaknesses: Alexiel's most noted weakness is her own younger brother, Rociel. She is prepared to do anything to make him happy and to keep him safe; their familial bonds are unbreakable no matter what happens. Her love for her brother is on a completely different level than her relationships with others. After Rociel is her attachment to Lucifer, the fallen Star of the Morning. He is the only one, aside from Rociel, that she actually listens to when ordered to do something. She loves him dearly and looks to him for advice and whatnot.

The fact that she gives a hundred percent of herself into anything she does means that once she is hurt emotionally she will hold a grudge against whoever caused the pain for almost an eternity (a very literal threat, since Alexiel is immortal), blind to all reason. Alexiel quickly loses her temper and will resort to violence at the least provocation.

Her astral weakness is ether; this seals all her astral powers and her wings. Her wings are also vulnerable; if a wing is injured it takes normal human time to heal them, and her offence and defence is lowered, as wings serve as the shield and measure of an angel's astral powers.

Notable Possessions: Nanatsusaya, carried around in an astral pocket - a rip in space - and her earrings.

The Organic Angel Alexiel is the twin sister of the Inorganic Angel Rociel, a pair of angels created from the six-winged Holy Hermit Adam Kadmon, the most powerful being created by God, to serve as keys into the Etenemanki, the tower in which God lived. The each of them recieved three wings and extraordinary astral powers, and both were, hypothetically speaking, the highest angels in Heaven hierarchy.

However, Alexiel had been voluntarily imprisoned in Atziluth - the highest level of Heaven - in the Garden of Eden and had been forced to eat the Forbidden Fruit, which is grown from the body of Adam Kadmon. This act marks her as fallen, for she is technically eating another angel's flesh. God had struck a deal with her when her twin had been newly created: Rociel will live as long as she does not show any feelings for him, and as long as she stays in Eden. God - had made this so because he knew that given freedom, Alexiel will expose his treachery and start a revolution.
Rociel still visited Alexiel countless times, begging for her recognition, and extracting a promise that she would kill him when he had completely descended into madness - something that he had known for a long time.

Lucifel - now Lucifer, as he had fallen from grace, as per God's orders - had snuck into the Garden of Eden in order to get his revenge on God by violating his cold-hearted and pristine 'beloved daughter'. Instead he found a headstrong woman, aware of everything that had been going on, and knowing that she was damning herself more and more everyday. He fell in love, and with a kiss and a promise of freedom left her in Eden.

Lucifer staged the First War between heaven and hell, as expected of him. After he had fallen and purified Hell for his comrades, he secretly sent missives to the four great Archangels - Michael, Jibriel, Uriel and Raphael - and the Inorganic Angel, Rociel, containing the treachery of God and the truth of the imprisonment of Alexiel, asking for their help to free the woman he loved. Uriel and Jibriel responded in kind, while Raphael and Michael ignored the letters, having just been granted the position of Archangel. It was much too risky a move, Raphael reasoned, but he would provide medical help, while Michael simply burned the missive and the messenger together with it.

Rociel, however, was slowly going insane, driven by the loss of acknowledgement from the sister he adored and the spreading rot of his body. He discarded the missive and prepared, instead, to wage war against his sister, whom he considered a traitor.

Lucifer came back for Alexiel in Eden, bringing Nanatsusaya for her to use, as he had seen that she was skillful with a sword. They both managed to escape and cross the planes down into the lowest levels of Hell, where even Heaven's army could not reach them. After a few centuries of preparation, Alexiel, together with the rebel organization Anima Mundi, staged a rebellion against God. She did not expect, however, that the chief of the Army be her own twin - shadow of who he was once, twisted by insanity - Rociel.

At the height of the Second War, Alexiel had Nanatsusaya drawn and her brother Rociel at her mercy, ready to kill him, but she could not end the life of her own flesh and blood, thus breaking her promise. She sealed him into the human plane, Assiah, instead, into a slumber that would hold for millennia, praying that someday he would forgive her.

She was then captured by Heaven and put on trial for starting the War. However, Uriel was the presiding Angel of Judgement at the proceedings. It wasn't so much as the contract with Lucifer as the love he felt for Alexiel that pushed him to stage the trial. He helped Alexiel escape from Machonon, Heaven's prison, and created a double of her body instead, out of plant material. For the substitute for her soul he sacrificed one of his aides. He then condemned the fake Alexiel to an endless cycle of reincarnation into a human body, wherein each life she lived would be a miserable one and meet a violent end. The body was then sealed in an angel crystal and stored in Machonon, and all was made out to be well and good.

Alexiel, now calling herself Alex, as per Uriel's nicknaming, planned in the depths of hell on how to defeat God, end the corruption in Heaven - led by Sevothtarte, who appointed himself Prime Minister in place of Rociel - and how to treat her brother's madness short of killing him. Lucifer stayed with her, and through the millennia of planning and endless failed revolts, they had coaxed each other's heart out of frozen solitude. Jibriel and Raphael sent help from above, Uriel descended into Hell to cover up Alexiel's trail, and even Michael appeared once in a while to train Anima Mundi soldiers.
